Three drug peddlers arrested with ganja

JAMMU, July 12: Bahu Fort Police arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 10 kilograms of ganja from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali laid a naka at Marathi Mohallah and intercepted three persons.
During checking, police team recovered 10 kilograms of ganja from the possession of these persons and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Sunil, son of Channa Ram of Punjab, at present Rajeev Nagar, Sandeep Kumar, son of Ranjit Singh of Ludhiana, at present Rajeev nagar and Geeta, wife of Pago of Jalandhar Punjab.
A case under FIR Number 189/2022 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
The whole operation was done under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari and SP South Mamta Sharma.
