JAMMU, Feb 18: Three persons of a family including two ladies were injured in a mysterious fire at their residence here at Bhagwati Nagar, falling within the jurisdiction of police post Canal Road.
According to a police spokesperson, a woman identified as Nisha Mehra (32) wife of Vishal Mehra, a resident of Bhagwati Nagar received about 75 % burn injuries in a mysterious fire at her residence this morning. He said in a bid to rescue the lady, her brother-in-law, Vicky (26) and mother in-law, Darshna Devi (55) also received minor burn injuries.
All of them were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment where Nisha’s condition was stated to be serious. The concerned police had registered a case in this connection and further investigations were underway.
