JAMMU, June 26: Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) today urged the Government to thwart the evil design of Pakistan and rescue the Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) from the illegal occupation of the Pakistan as per the Parliamentary resolution of 1994.
While addressing the media persons here, the DSS president, Gulchain Singh Charak said that he received SOS calls from the Muslim Dogra community of various international chapters of the Sabha located in UK, US, Gulf and PoJK that the Pakistan is going to introduce 14th amendment Bill to the “PoJK Interim Constitution, 1974” in order to annex illegally the occupied portion of the erstwhile J&K state as a province of the country.
“The proposed amendment aims at instituting certain draconian clauses in the interim constitution of the so called “Azad Kashmir” to further tighten the noose around the captive populace of the occupied J&K and curtail whatever scanty civil liberties exist at present,” said Charak, adding that the Pakistan Government is allegedly planning to overshadow the working Prime Minister of PoJK, Raja Farooq Haider by installing a puppet military ruler.
However, the incumbent PM of PoJK is the main opponent of Pakistan hegemony and opposing the idea of merger of PoJK with Pakistan, DSS president added.
