RAMBAN, Sept 19: Tiger Cup Volleyball tournament is being organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion deployed at Nachlana in joint collaboration with District Youth Services Sports, Ramban and Youth Association of Nachlana. The aim of the tournament is to encourage sports amongst the youth and identify budding volleyball players in the district.
20 teams are participating in this 4-day tournament. The tournament was declared open by Commanding Officer of Rashtriya Rifles Battalion and chairman of the village amidst a gathering of huge number of locals and dignitaries. During the tournament volleyball team of Ramban District will also be participating prior to the State volleyball championship being conducted next month.
