NEW DELHI: Continuing its strong run at the box office, the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has entered the Rs 300 crore club, earning Rs 300.89 crore at the box office in just 16 days, trade sources said. Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai has emerged as the first and the only Bollywood release of 2017 to enter the Rs 300 crore club at the box office.
The film is only the fifth Bollywood film ever to step into the Rs 300 crore club, the others being ‘Dangal’, ‘PK’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Sultan’. It is the third film of Salman, after ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Sultan’, to earn over Rs 300 crore. Released on December 22 , ‘Tiger Zinda Hai ‘, a sequel to the 2012 hit ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, has been on a record breaking spree ever since its release.
It has been winning accolades from the audience for its thrilling action sequences and the chemistry between Salman and Katrina. (AGENCIES)
