Sir,
Every year Central Government allocates huge funds to the J&K Government for carrying out development works in the State. The State being strategically sensitive has been paid more attention by the present Central Government by way of allocating more funds.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has delved deep into the needs of people and announced a number of schmes for the State for raising the standard of the people in general and that of the social development in particular. The Jan Dan Yojna, scholarship scheme for the BPL children, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, crop insurance scheme and so many other such schemes including IAY, women empowerment so on and so forth. But, unfortunately, inordinate delay takes place in the execution of these schemes. The establishment of medical colleges in the State is yet in the preliminary stage because of the official apathy in respect of location of land and payment thereof. The Government machinery and those at the helm of affairs need to put more efforts to fulfill the various schemes in order to ensure regular flow of funds from the Centre because the concerned department of the Centre wants fulfillment of formalities in execution of schemes before releasing funds. So timely action is needed for the fulfillment of the formalities and execution of works.
Yours etc..
