JAMMU, Mar 5: Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School, Residency Road celebrated its Sports Cum Annual Day Function in the School Grounds, here today.
The Chief Guest for the day was Bhushan Lal Dogra, Minister of State, Vice- Chairperson J&K Advisory Board for development of Scheduled Caste and the Guest of  Honour was Veena Handa, Chairperson of Tiny Tots Group of Schools.
Students of the school welcomed the Guests with flowers. The audience was apprised that the sports events and various other competitions were going on since many days.
The Chief Guest declared the meet open by lighting the Torch which was carried around the field by Rohan Qureshi.
The finals of various Athletic events including the sprints, the long distance races, long jump and races for the junior classes were held during the day.
The Musical drill was a sight of precise coordination among the children where as the dance by the little fairies of Tiny Tots had the audience spell bound. The Sun Flower drill looked like a sea of yellow flowers waving in the air.
The dances from various states of the country were presented in colorful dresses and the audience loved the performances so much that each dance got a standing ovation from the audience. Towards the end some fun races were organized for the staff and the parents.
Veena Handa spoke about the importance of curricular activities in shaping up the future of the children.
The Chief Guest congratulated the management for organizing such a mesmerizing event and said it was extremely well co-ordinated and encouraged the students to continue taking part in such activities.
Deepak Handa, MD of the School congratulated the students for performing well in all the activities. Also present were Mrs Gurpreet, Deepali Handa and Dr Vikram Handa.
Preety Sharma, Coordinator of the School presented vote of thanks.
