Tiny Tots School organizes painting competition

JAMMU, Nov 8: Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School Roopnagar organized painting competition in the school premises, here today.
A large number of schools both private and Government participated in the event. 64 students of various schools showed their talent to drawing and colours. They depicted the different festivals of India in very colorful way.
Various schools namely ASN Higher Secondary School, Elite Public School, Govt Girls Hr. Sec. School Rehari, Govt Hr Secondary School Bhagwati Nagar, ACM Public School, besides all the three branches of Tiny Tots participated in the event.
Jahnavi Proch of Tiny Tots Hr Secondary School Roopnagar and Sneha Manhas of Tiny Tots Hr Secondary School Sainik Colony secured the first prize. Preeti Bhagat of Elite Public School, Anhar Fiza Khan of ASN Higher Secondary School and Diksha Dogra of Tiny Tots Hr Secondary School, Residency Road secured second prize, while Megha Sharma of Govt Girls Hr Secondary School Rehari, Vicky Mehra of Govt High School Bhagwati Nagar and Arif of ACM Public School secured Third Prize.
The chief guest on the occasion was president of Youth Congress, Satish Sharma and function was presided over by the chairperson of Handa College of Education, Veena Handa and Anshu Chib was the guest of honour.
While Satish Sharma lauded the efforts of the Institution in promoting multiple values of expressions in the students, Veena Handa emphasized on the importance of fine arts which should be made integral part of school curriculum.
