Srinagar, June 15: Additional Diector General of Police (ADGP) Police Headquarters (PHQ) VK Singh who was accompanied by IGP PHQ Surinder Kumar Gupta and AIG Buildings PHQ Abdul Waheed Shah visited Pulwama and Awantipora today.
During his visit, a police spokesman said, he chaired the darbars with the jawans at DPL Pulwama and Awantipora. “ADGP while chairing these darbars, heard the police personnel patiently and assured them that their genuine grievances would be looked into on priority.
“He impressed upon the jawans and officers about the importance of common people and role of J&K Police in ensuring their safety and security. The ADGP appreciated the performance of Pulwama Police on multi farious front. He also took stock of the construction works at Pulwama and Awantipora,” the spokesman added.
