Touch Stone Institute celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Apr 7: Touch Stone Institute of IT and Management, Rehari Chungi, celebrated Annual Day with pomp and show.
On the occasion, Raman Bhalla, Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture, was the chief guest, while, Shahnawaz Choudhary, president, Youth Congress and Neetu Maini, Principal, Government Polytechnic College, were the special guests.
Neetu Pandita, Chairperson of the college, presented the welcome address and also read the annual report, highlighting the achievements of the students in curricular and co-curricular activities.
Students presented various cultural items and mesmerized the audience with their commendable performance.
While speaking, Raman Bhalla stressed upon the need to impart moral education among students.
He impressed upon the students to work hard with dedication to achieve their desired goals.
Bhalla also stressed upon the teachers to impart quality and good education to the students as the same are the future of the developing nation.
Later, Raman Bhalla along with other dignitaries also awarded the meritorious students and also winners of the cultural extravaganza. Kanika and her group bagged first prize in the folk dance, whereas, Shubham and his group emerged winner in Punjabi group dance. Gourav and his group claimed title of the Ramayan play.
At the end, Managing Director Sumita Dogra presented vote of thanks.
