JAMMU, Jan 18:Track & Field (Red) defeated Central Office XI (Blue) by a narrow margin of 9 runs in the second T20 cricket match played as part of the sports league organized by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Katra to improve multi-dimentional aspects of sportsmanship and encourage participation of its employees in sports.
Batting first, Track & Field (Red) scored 131 runs in the stipulated 20 overs.
While chasing the target, Central Office XI (Blue) managed to score 122 runs, thus lostthe match by narrow margin of 9 runs.
S P Sharma and Vipan Sharma top scored for the winning team with 28 runs each, while the highlight of the match was the hat-trick taken by Bhisham Singh of Central Office XI (Blue), who took 4 wickets in the match.
