POONCH, Nov 5: A tractor driver was seriously injured in road accident while a PDD worker received severe electric shocks while working on a power line in Poonch today.
Official sources said that a tractor trolley over turned at Kankote village near Nuna Bandi today causing serious injuries to Iftyar Ahmed, son of mohd Sadiq of the same area. He was rushed to DH Poonch and later referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu.
A PDD worker Mohd Sharief, son of Mohd Hussain, resident of Mandi received serious injuries while working on a live cable in the same area today. He was rushed to Mandi hospital and then shifted to Poonch. The police has taken cognizance in this regard.
