Training program for Principals concludes

JAMMU, Apr 26: The six-day orientation training programme on “Educational Planning and Financial Management” for the Prinicpals of Jammu district, conducted by State Institute of Education (SIE) Jammu at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Rehari, concluded today.
The programme was inaugurated on April 4, 2014 by Joint Director (Trainings) and Principal SIE Jammu, HR Pakhroo.
During the 6-day training programme various key issues like school administration, educational management, education planning and its essence, class room management, educational leadership qualities, delegation of authority & accountability, need and importance of school records, role and responsibility of the head of institutions, RTE, leave rules, GPF rules, pension cases, etc, were taken up in depth by internal as well as external resource persons of the programme.
Field Advisors, SK Raina (also coordinator of the programme), Ravi Dubey, Shadi Lal Tinglu and Associate RO, SK Gouria (also associate coordinator of the programme), were the internal resourse persons from SIE, Jammu while Director, Audit and Inspections, State Finance Department, Lochan Dass, AAO (Administration), Narinder Singh, Amit Kumar, ITO, Income Tax Department, Director (Finance), School Education Department, SL Pandita, CAO, DSE, Jammu, Ajay Kumar Gupta, and HOD, DIET, Samba, RK Hakim, were external resource persons.
During his welcome address, HR Pakhroo, apprised the participants of the objective of the programme and stressed upon them to work with zeal and fully explore their knowledge acquired during the training programme for effective and smooth functioning of their respective institutions.
The chief guest, TK Sharma, DSE, Jammu, said that the programme is a right step in the right direction and felt that such training programmes should be continued to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of the head of the institutions.
The programme ended with vote of thanks by SK Raina.
