JAMMU, Dec 24 : A deputation of All J&K Motor Transport Companies Representatives and Agents Association called on Transport Minister and apprised him of the problems being faced by them in the office of RTO Jammu.
The Association apprised the minister about the deficiency of staff in RTO Jammu, shortage of computers and no sitting arrangement for the agents. They also appealed the minister to issue necessary direction to the RTO Jammu, ARTO and others not to entertain un-authorized agents in the office.
Transport Commissioner was also present in the meeting with the minister, who gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured early redressal of their problems.
The deputation was led by S Gajjan Singh, president of the Association.
