SAMBA, Aug 4: Rich tributes were paid on Balidan Divas of Sanjeev Singh and Sunny Padha, martyrs of 2008 Amarnath land row agitation in a programme organised here today.
MLA Samba Davender Manyal, Jangveer Singh Chiku and other BJP leaders took part in the programme and paid tributes to martyrs.
Family members of martyr Sanjeev Singh and Sunny Padha also attended the programme.
Davender Manyal, while paying tributes, said that the Sanjeev Singh and Sunny Padha attained martyrdom during Amarnath yatra agitation and their sacrifice taught the people how to get united for a cause and will remain as a source of inspiration to the nationalist people.
The BJP leaders including Sanjeev Padha, Narsingh Dayal, Omkar Padha, Narender Kumar, Santosh Rani and Sanjay Gupta also took part in the programme.
