Tributes paid to Sardar Patel

DODA, Nov 1: Youth Congress activists of the district paid rich tributes to the first Union Home Minister of Republic of India Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel in a function organized at Bhaderwah.
The function in this connection was organized under the leadership of Nadeem Sharief, Bhaderwah Assembly president (PYC), the other day. The Youth Congress leader while paying tributes, recalled the services of Sardar Patel for the country and said that towering leader worked hard for the unity and integrity of the country. He worked under the guidance of Mahatma Gandhi and Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru and strengthened communal harmony in the country. Mr Patel is considered as iron man and one of the founding fathers of the Republic of India.
The PYC leader further said that Sardar Patel is known to be a leader with a vision who played an unparallel role in the country’s struggle. As the first Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of India, Patel organized relief for refugees in Punjab and Delhi. He said Sardar Patel will remain in the hearts of many people for centuries for his simplicity and works of national integration.
