REASI, Oct 10: Triple A Performing Arts Reasi organized a mega cultural event comprising rap, singing and dance competition under a talent show titled “Crazy Vibes” at Sanyog Ghar Community Hall, here today.
On the occasion, Deputy SP HQ Reasi Iftekhar Ahmed inaugurated the event with the lighting of traditional lamp and Vishal Pandotra (social activist) was the guest of honour whereas Inspector Sunil Sharma (SHO Reasi) and Romail Singh (social activist) were special guests.
As many as 70 participants from different schools and institutions of Jammu region performed under the guidance of organizing secretary Kishor Atri. JR Sharma Jackson (noted choreographer), renowned singer Surinder Singh Manhas and Nagar were judges of Rap & Singing category.
The programme commenced with Dogri dance by students of GMS Talwara which was followed by singing performance by students of Padam Sangeet Akademy.
In the Senior dance category, Dhanjay Singh and Love Naresh bagged first and second positions, respectively. In Junior dance category, Ardhaya and Lakhan bagged first and second positions, respectively.
In Rap singing category, Amit Kumar and Ajay Thakur won first and second prizes, respectively whereas Tanvi and Geeta Devi Chib stood first and second respectively in singing category.
Raja Aamir Khan (president, Triple A Performing Arts) anchored the programme and delivered vote of thanks. All the participants were awarded participation certificates. Others present on the occasion included Rashad Khan, Rajesh Ajnabi, Meenu Sharma, Bodh Raj Vardaan, M Akram Khan, Kulwant Singh, Sushma Kumari and Thakur M M Singh.
