BHADERWAH, July 1: Trishul Baint Yatra for Mata Chandi Sthapan (Dham), Bhaderwah got underway today.
The holy mela was attended by thousands of devotees joining with the Yatra en-route Doda to Bhaderwah participated in it.
The Chari (Trishul) which started from Doda town this morning was taken by Sthapak Vimal Kumar Jain.
Devotees from all over erstwhile district Doda and Jammu alongwith Chari reached Chinote Bhaderwah (Sthapan) on hundreds of vehicles while chanting hyms and slogans of Mata Chandi.
Elaborated security arrangements were made by the local administration.
A common langar at Bhaderwah was also organized by the Yatra Committee in Chandi Mata Temple Chinote.
After performing the traditional rituals and Yagya, Yatra returned to Doda.
It is pertinent to mention here that the same Trishul (Holy Mela) will be taken from Chandi Mata Temple Chinote to Machial Padder in the month of August.
The Machial Yatra that is gaining fame for the last more than two decades and has been attracting tourists and pilgrims in thousands not only from J&K, but also from other parts of the country.
