REASI, Nov 2: Police today seized a truck loaded with illicit firewood.
SSP Reasi Mohammad Sharief Chouhan said that police party from Reasi Police Station during routine checking at Sullah naka intercepted a Katra bound truck bearing registration number JK02AL-8511.
During checking, police seized illicit firewood and detained the driver of the vehicle, who has been identified as Mohammad Rafiq, son of Mohammad Hussain of Talwara, SSP said.
The truck along with illicit firewood was handed over to District Forest Officer (DFO) Reasi for further lawful action, SSP added.
