JAMMU, Feb 2: In the annual General Council of Jammu and Kashmir Korfball Association, TS Wazir was unanimously elected as the President of the Association, here today.
His name was proposed by S Tarkik Singh, ex-President of the Association for a period of four years.
The election was held at Hotel Fortune, Jammu under the observation of Ashok Singh, Manager MA Stadium, who was appointed as observer by J&K State Sports Council.
The other office bearers elected were
Tarlok Singh, Advisor; Pardeep Malhotra, Sr Vice President; JB Singh Bali, Raman Sherpur and Usha Chuni (all Vice Presidents); S Manjit Singh as Secretary General; Dr Brij Biloria and VP Sharma as Secretaries.
Ram Kumar Sharma was elected as Treasurer, while Jarnail Singh, Madan Lal and Seema Khayal were elected as the Joint Secretaries.
The Executive Members included Shefali, Harmanan Singh, Surinder Singh, Manjit Singh, Kranti Khajuria, Rajiv Singh, Tarandeep Singh, Vikas Sharma and Balbir Singh.
