JAMMU, Jun 3: A Table Tennis summer camp was inaugurated at Indoor Sports complex MA Stadium here today, marking the beginning of a season.The camp was organised by the J&K Table Tennis Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council. The camp will continue till June 10.The event began with a warm welcome speech by the organising team member, who highlighted the camp’s mission to foster the growth of table tennis in the UT of J&K. Chief Guest for the event was Rajeev Sharma, President J&K Hockey Association and member J&K Sports Council.He encouraged the young sports enthusiasts to give their best and leave no stone unturned in learning the new skills of the game from their coaches. Baljinder Pal Sngh, Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports’ Council was the guest of honour for the event and Sat Pal Singh, Manager Parade Ground was the special guest.Prominent persons who were present included Suraj Bhan (Manager Indoor Sports Complex), Satish Gupta, Table Tennis Coach (Retd), Ajay Sharma, I.P Singh, Narinder Singh, Meenu Rajesh and Vasu Dewan.
