UDHAMPUR, Feb 26: A two-day long open selection trials for Khelo India Table Tennis (TT) Centre Indoor Sports Hall Subash Stadium, District Udhampur commenced here today. Near about 100 players participated in different age categories from every nook and corner of the district Udhampur.
The trials were conducted by the J&K Sports Council with the able control of Incharge, Manager Vikas Dogra along with Ankit Sharma Table Tennis Mentor, Shubham Sharma Basketball Mentor. The overall supervision of these trials was held under the control of Divisional Sports Officer Jammu. The main aim of trials is to promote the table tennis game in every corner of District Udhampur and provide all the benefits to the players under “Khelo India Scheme”. The final selection will be prepared on the basis of physical fitness tests and specific table tennis skill tests.
