JAMMU, July 15: The Jammu and Kashmir Tug-of-War Association under the Presidentship of Hardeep Singh Anand has selected teams to participate in 25th Sub Junior and 36th Junior and 36 Senior (Women) Tug–of–War Championship being held from July 21 to 23 at Tamil Nadu.
The selected players for 25th Sub Junior Girls National underweight category 420 KG includes Nazia Choudhary, Isha Chambyal, Ronak Kaisar Shah, Harmeet Kour, Anshima, Aniyah Sheeraz Makroo, Palvi Choudhary, Mahvish Majid, Aanisa Iqbal and Sheikh Anushah.
The selected players for 36th Junior Girls National underweight category 460 KG include Tanvi Sotra, Insha Majid, Hafsa Muzafar, Rahivish Rashid, Syed Hadeeqa Idris, Snober Yaquoob, Juwana Riyaz, Misbah Amin Wani, Sabhat Gulzar and Nowsheen Altaf.
The selected players for 36th Senior Women National underweight category 500 KG includes Vasvi Gupta, Munaza Rashid, Mehwish Khurshid, Tania Kumari, Maviya Yaqoob, Fouqia Fayaz, Falak Sajad, Khushboo Jan, Syed Seerat and Shahla Hamid.
Jasvinder Singh, Kiran Kumari and Suman Kumari are accompanying as coaches and Managers of these teams respectively. Hardeep Singh Anand, President of the Association also distributed kits among the players before departure which were Sponsored by Trans Asia Hotels Pvt. Ltd.
