Two arrested for smuggling bovines

JAMMU, Apr 19: Bishnah police arrested two persons for smuggling bovine animals.
As per police sources, a team from Bishnah police station laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02BK-3586.
During checking, police rescued three bovine animals and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Muneer Hussain, son of Siraj Din, a resident of Sainik Colony and Chotu Lal, son of Mast Ram, a resident of Neeli, RS Pura.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bishnah police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector PP Singh foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
