Two day CBP programme concludes

JAMMU, June 8: Cambridge International School (CIS), Jammu held two days Capacity Building Programme for the teachers.
The objective of the workshop was to equip the teachers with the latest and innovative strategies of teaching as per National Education Policy 2020. Dr. J. N. Baliya, Head, Department of Educational Studies, Central University of Jammu, Seema Rani Thappa, Department of Educational Studies, Central University of Jammu, Dr. Rakesh Verma, Chief Executive Officer, Birendra Prasad, Principal and Rajni Malhotra, Vice Principal, Cambridge International School were present on this occasion.
The day one schedule was divided into four sessions, where Dr. J. N. Baliya, talked about the Structural Reforms in the School Education as envisioned in NEP 2020. Seema Rani Thappa discussed about the Innovative Classroom Techniques used in 21st century.
On day two, Dr. J. N. Baliya and Seema Rani Thappa, talked about introduction to Indian Knowledge System (IKS), Using Open Education Resources (OERs) as e-content classrooms. Along with sharing innovative and creative teaching pedagogy, the resource persons also insisted that teachers must have mastery over their subjects which helps them not only in class control but also inspires the students to ask out of the box questions that ultimately help students to grow and touch the pinnacle of the success of life. The two day workshop concluded with the valedictory session. The guests were honoured with the mementos.
