JAMMU, Mar 26: The two day workshop for students on Interdisciplinary Sciences concluded at GGM Science College, here today with a valedictory function wherein Principal Dr Ajeet Angral was the chief guest and Dr B L Gupta, Nodal Officer, Cluster University was the guest of honour.
Prof B L Gupta spoke about the importance of conducting such workshops for students while Prof Ajeet Angral said that students must take maximum benefit from such workshops and asked them to take lead in future for their participation and assisting the teachers concerned in organizing such mega programmes in this institution.
The vote of thanks was presented by Dr Jagjeet Singh.
Earlier, Dr Sunil Gupta, organizing secretary of the workshop, welcomed the delegates while Dr Ashok Kumar, convener of the programme, read the brief detail of two days proceedings of the workshop.
The resource persons of IInd Day technical sessions were, Dr Kuldeep Singh from Botany Department, Dr Sunil Gupta from Mathematics Department, Dr Jagjeet Singh from Chemistry Department , Dr B L Gupta and Prof Poonam Kundan from EVS Department, who spoke on different areas of Sciences .
The other faculty members, who were present there, included Dr Ravinder Tickoo, Dr Kuldeep Singh, Prof Mohinder Singh , Dr Ranvijay Singh, Prof Kamlesh , Prof Ashwani Vohra , Prof Sandhyasankya Dhar and Prof Dileep Raina.
