JAMMU, May 17: Two days admission fair commenced today at Jhelum Resort here with huge turnout of class 12th appeared students and parents seeking counseling and advice by the finest participating universities and colleges from all across India.
The fair was inaugurated by Kavinder Gupta, Speaker Legislative Assembly.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to meet India’s finest universities, colleges and educational institutions all under one roof. Admissions fair serve as ‘time & cost effective’ platforms for parents and students to access multiple institutions ‘under one roof’. It saves the time of the working parents and reduces the hassle of visiting various colleges in Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Dehradun, etc”, Kavinder Gupta said.
He appealed to the organizers of this admission fair to hold job fairs also so that the unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir would be benefited.
Vivek Shukla, Director, Afairs Exhibitions and Media, the organizer of this fair and Ashwini Sharma, Director Gold Advertising were also present on the occasion.
The two day event is offering plenty of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The major highlights of this year’s exhibition are that youngsters will be able to access accurate information by interacting directly with the representatives of over 25 institutions offering over 70 career courses, from Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Jaipur, Dehradun, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and other parts of the country.
