Two days teachers training prog concludes

JAMMU, June 11: Two days teachers training programme organized by JP World School Channi to equip the teachers with innovative teaching methodologies and to make them trained to tackle different behavioural issues concluded today.
Teachers from Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu, Bhargava Public School, Samba and the host school participated in this orientation programme.
Prof (Dr) Sanjeev P Sahni, Principal Director and Payal Chhoker, Clinical Psychologist of the department of Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences, OP Jindal Global University, Sonepat were the resource persons for the orientation.
Innovative teaching practices, stress management and performance enhancement were the topics of the programme.
Dr Sahni with his humorous style of interaction, emphasized on how much important it is for a teacher to have love for learning and passion for teaching. He discussed various ways to bring innovation in teaching. In his second session, he interacted with teachers on stress management skills.
Payal Chokker with the help of different activities explained how different types of behavioural issues can be resolved by the teacher.
It was coordinated by Sarni Jain, PGT Commerce.
Vivek Kumar, Principal Bhargava Public School, Samba and Jitinder Singh Hundal, Principal, JP World School were also present on the occasion.
