JAMMU, July 3: Two persons including an old man died today due to electrocution in Pargwal area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, one Babu Singh (65) son of Multan Singh, resident of Pindi (Pargwal ) and other Ashok Kumar (30) son of Ballu Ram, resident of Rajpura (Pargwal) suffered severe electric shock while the tractor through which they were ploughing a field, came in contact with an underground live electric wire.
In serious condition both the victims were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared them as brought dead. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased were handed over to their legal heirs for last rites.concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
