JAMMU, Aug 25: Jammu and Kashmir registered 259 COVID-19 cases today.
Two fresh deaths due to the Coronavirus were also reported today.
Forty one cases were reported from Jammu division and 188 cases from Kashmir valley.
The death toll due to the virus was 4,781 as two fresh deaths were reported from the Union Territory, the officials said.
There are 2001 active cases of the disease in the Union Territory.
Meanwhile, the UT of Ladakh today reported four fresh COVID positive cases, all in Leh district.
Ladakh now has 52 active cases including 47 in Leh and five in Kargil.
