Srinagar, May 15: Police today claimed to have apprehended two drug peddlers and recovered 130 bottles Codeine Phosphate from a Van in Nowhatta area here.
A police spokesman said police intercepted a Van, JK01C/6948, and two peddlers Mehraj u Din Mir son of Ghulam Nabi and Gulzar Ahmad War son of Abdul Rashid, both of Saida Kadal were taken into custody.
“A case FIR No. 40/2014 under Section 21 NDPS was registered in police station Nowhatta and investigation has been started,” the spokesman said.
