Two found dead

JAMMU, May 5: Two persons were found dead today in separate areas of Jammu.
According to a police official, the dead body of a morning walker namely Vikas Jain (40) son of Subash Jain, resident of House number 488, Jain Bazaar was found this morning in the middle of Circular Road falling under the jurisdiction of police post Panjtirthi.
He said the body was not bearing any injury marks and prima facie it appears that he died either of cardiac arrest or brain stroke. “The body has been shifted in mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC initiated by Panjirthi police,” the official added.
Meanwhile, the dead body of a truck driver namely Nasir Khan (23) son of Mohd Hanif, resident of Nowabad (Jammu) was recovered today from his own truck parked near Narwal petrol pump. His body was shifted to mortuary room of GMCH Jammu and his swab sample was sent for COVID-19 testing while inquest proceeding was initiated by Narwal police to ascertain reason of his death.
