DODA, Dec 19: Two persons received injuries, when the Innova car, they were traveling in, skidded off the road and plunged into river Chenab near Karara.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK21-4333 was on its way to Doda from Gandoh, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into river Chenab near Karara.
After getting information, police team led by Incharge Karara police post SI Mohammad Sharief rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, when reports last came in.
The injured have been identified as Daya Krishan, son of Amar Nath of Bhelru Pranoo, tehsil Bhaderwah and Mohammad Raheem Bhatti, son of Mohammad Rafiq Bhatti, a resident of Akhnoor, Jammu.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
