JAMMU, Aug 27: Two Army jawans were injured in a mine blast at Makhyari Dhok behind the Line of Control (LoC) in Sabjian sector of Poonch district this morning.
Official reports said the Army jawans accidentally stepped over a mine during inter formation patrolling at Makhyari Dhok at 11.50 am leading to a powerful blast in which two Army soldiers were injured.
The injured jawans were immediately evacuated from the site of blast and shifted to hospital, where their condition was stated to be out of danger.
The injured jawans have been identified as Lance Naik Ashok Kumar and Havaldar Chet Bahadur.
