UDHAMPUR, June 4: Two persons died while another injured in separate mishaps across Udhampur today.
A young man was knocked to death by train when he was crossing Railway track near Roun Domail, this morning. GRP police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where he succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased was identified as Kuldeep Singh (37) son of Shiv Das of village Mir Panchari.
In a road accident, a pedestrian was hit by unknown vehicle on the National Highway near Omala late last night. Locals shifted him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu. However, he succumbed to his injuries on way to Jammu.
The deceased was identified as Dawarka Nath (48) son of Vidaya Ram of Kotali Bala Udhampur
In another road mishap, one Chirag Bhasin (26), son of Anil Bhasin of Udhampur, was injured when his scooty skidded off the road near Mand.
