Open Hockey Tournament

JAMMU, Mar 18: BBS Club Poonch defeated Dashmesh Hockey Club Nanak Nagar by 5-0 in an ongoing Open Hockey Tournament at K K Hakku Stadium here today.
Rajinder Singh, former President Hockey India was the chief guest of the match. While in the 2nd match of the day played between Khalsa Warriors and MBS Hockey Club which was won by MBS Club by 3-0 with the help of 2 fantastic goals by Jasprit Singh Jimmy. Dr Anitipal Singh was the chief guest in 2nd match.
Both MBS Club Simbal and BBS Club Poonch topped in their respective pools and both teams showcased stellar performances, with excellent stick work. The matches were officiated by Balmeet Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Iqbal Singh (NIS Hockey Coach J&K Police), Gurjit Singh (Former International Hockey player & Hockey Coach J&K Police) and Ishtiaq.
