Police Martyr’s Memorial Cricket Tournament

KATHUA, Dec 30: On the 12th day of the ongoing 12th Police Martyr’s Memorial North Zone T-20 Cricket Tournament 2023-24, two matches were played today at Sports Stadium Kathua.
The first match was played in the morning session of the tournament between Sandhu Cricket Club and Bhawani Cricket Club Delhi wherein Sandhu Cricket Club team won the toss and chose to bat first and scored 174 runs in 20 overs on the loss of six wickets.
The top scorer of the team was Aditya who scored 54 runs in 34 balls with 8 boundaries while Sunil Dalal scored 29 runs in 28 balls and gave a target of 175 runs to the rival team.
While chasing the target of 175 runs, Bhawani Cricket Club Delhi team scored 174 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 6 wickets and match was tied while in a super over match Bhawani Cricket Club won the match by 12 runs.
In this way Bhawani Cricket Club Delhi team won the match by 12 runs in a super over game and top most scorer of the team remained Himanshu who scored 61 runs in 40 balls with 7 boundaries and one six for which he was declared as Man of the Match.
The second match was played between Lifecare Lucknow and Unique CA Delhi of Group D wherein Unique CA Delhi team won the toss and chose to ball first. While batting first Lifecare Lucknow team scored 205 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. The top scorer of the team was Vikas Dixit who scored 56 runs in 29 deliveries with 5 boundaries and 3 sixes while Mayank scored 49 runs in 18 balls with 3 boundaries and 5 sixes.
While chasing a target of 206 runs, Unique CA team Delhi was unable to chase down the given target and scored 193 runs in 20 overs and were all out. Lifecare Lucknow team won the match by 12 runs.
In this match top wickets taker remained Mayank who took 3 crucial wickets while giving 34 runs in 4 overs and he also scored 49 runs in 18 balls with 3 boundaries and 5 sixes for which he was declared as Man of the Match.
