Srinagar, Mar 18: Police today busted two militant hideouts in South Kashmir and recovered incriminating material.
Police said that based on a credible input, Awantipora Police with the assistance of 42 RR and CRPF busted a militant hideout of JeM in Buchoo/Kamala forests area of Awantipora.
Police have recovered incriminating materials including explosive materials from the hideout.
A case FIR No. 20/2020 under relevant Sections of law has been registered in Police Station Tral in this regard. Click here to watch video
The incriminating materials recovered have been seized by the police and taken into case records for the purpose of investigation.
Officers from the local police station are investigating the matter.
Police said that based on a credible input, Kulgam Police with the assistance of security forces busted a militant hideout belonging to LeT in Akhal forest area of Kulgam.
Police have recovered incriminating materials including explosive materials used for making IEDs and other documents from the hideout.
A case FIR No 16/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Devsar in this regard and investigations initiated.
The incriminating materials recovered have been seized by the police and taken into case records for the purpose of investigation.
