JAMMU, Mar 19: In the first semifinal match of the Open Hockey Tournament here today between Dashmesh Hockey Club Nanak Nagar and MBS Hockey Club, MBS Club Simbal won the match by 5-3.
Vikram Randhawa (Ex-MLC) was the Chief Guest of the match. While in the 2nd match played between Khalsa Warriors and BBS Hockey Club Poonch was won by BBS Club Poonch by 4-1. Ajay Bharti (Ex-MLC) was the Chief Guest of the match. Both teams showcased stellar performances with excellent stick work.
Rajinder Singh (Former President Hockey India), G.S Bakshi, Rajinder Koul (Senior Vice President Hockey J&K), Daljeet Singh (Member Hockey J&K), Gurpreet Singh (Vice President Hockey J&K), Adv. Ishan Sharma (Treasurer Hockey J&K), Manjeet Singh (Sr Member Hockey J&k), Supinder Deep Singh Bakshi (General Secretary Hockey J&K), Adv Manmohit Singh Khalon, RP Sarna and.Ashok Sharma besides public and players were also present.
The matches were officiated by a technical panel of Balmeet Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Iqbal Singh (NIS Hockey Coach J&K Police), Gurjit Singh (Former International Hockey Player & Hockey Coach J&K Police) and Ishtiaq.
