JAMMU, Apr 17: Gharota Police arrested two thieves and recovered stolen items from their possession.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Station Gharota by a person namely Kunal Dogra, son of Dewan Chand of Janipur Colony District Jammu stating that some thieves have stole some items from CSC centre at Panchayat Ghar Kot.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 34/2022 under relevant Sections was registered at Police Station Gharota and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Gharota led by SHO Inspector Rajesh Khajuria was constituted under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial.
The team did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV cameras footages of the area finally arrested two thieves, who were identified as Naresh Kumar, son of Brij Lal of Nardani, Raipur and Avinash Kumar, son of Vakil Chand of Kot Bhalwal.
On their disclosure, stolen items were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
