JAMMU, Feb 16: GD Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust is organizing Under-15 Football Tournament, which got underway in the School premises, here yesterday. The event is being organized in collaboration with SAI for the promotion of sports.
Ten teams from different schools are participating in the said event, which will be concluding on February 19, 2016.
The first match was played Jodhamal Public School and Dewan Badrinath School, wherein Jodhamal Public School emerged winner by a big margin of 11 goals (11-0). The second match was played between G.D Goenka Public School, Jammu and DBN School. The Goenkans won the match by (9-0).
The Principal of the school, Dr RP Singh while interacting with the players, advised them to play with sportsmanship spirit.
