JAMMU, Sept 26: Inter-District Division level Football tournament for U-17 and U-19 (boys) are underway at Astro Turf Parade Ground, here.
On the day two, the first match of U-17 boys was played between District Rajouri and District Samba in which District Rajouri defeated District Samba by 2-0 goals. Moheeb Khan of Rajouri scored two goals against the opponent team. In the U-19 match between Khatua and Rajouri, Rajouri defeated Kathua district by 2-1 goals. Sammer Raja of Rajouri scored first goal in first half and in return Rajpaul of Kathua shoots one goal during the first half of the game. But Satvik Sharma of Rajouri shot one more goal in second half to the opponent team and won the match.
In the third Match U-17 boys was played between Jammu and Poonch in which District Poonch beat Jammu by 2-1 goals. Harspreet and Namul Haq scored one each goal from the Poonch side and Mir Mohammed of Jammu scored one goal against the opponent team. In the fourth match, Kathua beat Rajouri by 4-1 goals. Abhnav Sharma scored two goals for Kathua while Arsh Sangra and Amandeep shoot one each. On the other side Karan Veer of Rajouri scored one goal to the opponent team.
There were around 180 players of Jammu Division taking part in the tournament. The tournament is being organised by Youth Services and Sports JK-UT.
