JAMMU, Oct 13: Organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports, Poonch, Inter-School Under-19 (Boys and Girls) Athletic Championship commenced today at Poonch.
All the Higher Secondary Schools of District Poonch took part in different events like track events of 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m and field events like long jump, high jump and triple jumps.
In these events athletes of Boys Higher Secondary School Poonch and Girls Higher Secondary Poonch dominated the day.
The chief guest on the occasion was principal of Boys Higher Secondary School Poonch, Sardar Kirath Singh, who in his address highlighted the value of sports in our life.
