UDHAMPUR, Mar 29: An Under-19 Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament organized by Udhampur Police under its Civic Action Programme (CAP) was declared open at DPL here today.
The Event was declared opened by Inspector Umesh Thakur under the supervision of SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar. In the Tournament, total 6 teams from different areas of district Udhampur are participating. This tournament is being played on knock out basis and trophy will be given away at the closing ceremony.
Today on inaugural day, 2 league matches were played between Garhi Cricket Club and Jaganoo Cricket Club, and Kambal Danga Cricket Club and Latti Cricket Club. In the league matches, Jaganoo Cricket Club and Kambal Danga Cricket Club emerged as winners in their respective matches.
