JAMMU, June 25: United Cricket Club (UCC) ‘B’ Udhampur and Manhas Cricket Club Rajouri were among the six winners in the ongoing District Level JKCA Premier Cricket Championships, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association under the overall supervision of retired Judge Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal and Sham Saroop Kalsotra at various venues in Jammu province.
At Subash Stadium Udhampur, UCC Blues defeated Ramnagar CC by a big margin of 121 runs. Batting first, UCC scored 185 runs in 30 overs, while Ramnagar CC bundled out for 64 runs. Rithik Singh was adjudged as the man of the match for his 4-wicket haul.
At District Police Lines Ground Rajouri, Manhas Cricket Club Nowshera (Lam) Cricket Club by 1 wicket. Nowshera Cricket Club scored 211 runs in 30 overs, while Manhas Cricket Club reached the target in 29.5 overs by losing 9 wickets, thus won the match by 1 wicket. Anuj of Manhaas Cricket Club was adjudged as man of the match for his brilliant knock.
At Banihal, King XI beat Aryans Club Banihal by 14 runs. Batting first King XI scored 164 runs in 20 overs, while in reply, Aryans Club managed to score 150 runs in 20 overs. Mustaq Ahmed was declared as the man of the match.
At Sports Stadium Kathua, Stadium XI defeated Shivam XI by 89 runs. Stadium XI scored 190 runs, while Shivam XI scored 101 runs. Nihal of Stadium XI was declared as the man of the match for scoring 50 runs.
At Sports Stadium Poonch, two matches were played today. In the first match, YCC defeated Seri Cricket Club by 6 wickets. Batting first, Seri Cricket Club scored 139 runs in 20 overs, while in reply, YCC chased the target in 14.4 overs by losing 4 wickets to win the match by 6 wickets. Preetpal Singh of YCC was adjudged as the man of the match.
In another match at the same venue, Peer Panchal Cricket Club defeated PP Tigers by 17 runs. Batting first, Peer Panchal CC scored 118 runs in 20 overs, while PP Tigers managed to scored 101 runs in 17.4 overs, thus lost the match by 17 runs. Raja of Peer Panchal Cricket Club was declared as man of the match.
