UCMAS Abacus organises Inter-School Competition

JAMMU, Oct 28: UCMAS Abacus organized Inter-School Drawing and Painting Competition on “Clean India Green India” at its Reasi centre.
Around 500 students from Bhartiya Vidhya Mandir, Galaxy Modern Academy, Lawrence Public Higher Secondary School, Kidzee Playway Mahadev, KV Jyotipuram, Little Lords Academy, Montessori School and Trikuta Shiksha Niketan participated.
On the occasion, a Live demonstration by the students pursuing UCMAS Abacus program and magic show was also conducted.
The chief guest on the occasion was Gopal Krishan ZEO Pouni and guest of honour was Prabh Dayal, ZEPO Pouni.
The students, who participated in the UCMAS National Competition, were also honoured by the chief guest Gopal Krishan ZEO Pouni along with other dignitaries.
Earlier, the welcome address was delivered by Rupesh Masson, Regional Head UCMAS Abacus, who also briefed about this campaign and benefit of abacus program for kids.
In Sub-Junior category, Aanwika Mengi of Kidzee, Monika of Kidzee and Natasha of Lawrence School took first, second and third positions respectively, while in Junior Category, Safia Tabasum of Trikuta Shiksha Niketan, Tanvi Salotra of KV School bagged first and second positions respectively, while the third prize was shared by Suhani Sharma of Trikuta Shiksha Niketan and Rajeev Sharma of KV Jyotipuram.
In Senior category, Sadhana Thakur of KV Jyotipuram bagged first position, while the second position was shared by Ravi Dogra of KV Jyotipuram and Archi of KV Jyotipuram. The third position was shared by Palvee Devi of Galaxy School and Amarta Dogra of KV Jyotipuram.
Sandeep, Drawing Teacher of KV Jyotipuram acted as judge in the painting competition.
The UCMAS Abacus team which took part in this event were Madhur Bharti, Sugandha, Anuj Sharma, Rashmi Aggarwal and Sonia Masson.
