UCMAS conducts 8th J&K State Level Abacus, Arithmetic Competition

JAMMU, May 7: UCMAS Abacus, a World Leader in abacus based brain development program conducted 8th J&K State Level UCMAS Abacus and Arithmetic Competition, here.
The Competition was organized by as per the guidelines provided by Akademi Sempoa and Mental Arithmetic UCMAS Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia and UCMAS India Network.
Over 500 students pursuing UCM0AS course at different authorized centers participated in different batches.
The competition was conducted in 8 levels where 200 questions of Arithmetic (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division) were asked and children were given a time of 8 minutes to complete the paper.
Due to the vigorous training provided at UCMAS centers in Jammu for State Level Competition, little kids of age group 5-13 years were able to answer trickiest of mathematical questions within seconds.
A selfie booth was installed at competition venue for kids and a fun competition among parents was also conducted to make them aware of the importance of abacus education and practice session.
Competition was managed under the supervision of UCMAS J&K Directors Rupesh Masson and Academic Director, Sonia Masson along with J&K Franchisee Rashmi Aggarwal, Laxmi Deep Gupta, Anita Bhan, Arun Gupta, Jyoti Kohli, Jagdish Kumar, Seema Khanna, Pallavi Hans, Madhur Bharti, Princi Jain, Bandana Sharma, Balwinder Singh, Neelam Sudan, Arti Khajuria, Sonia Sharma, Priya Choudhary, Anuj Sharma, Rama Sharma, Shital Jamwal, Upasna Arora, Divya Gupta, Sivani Sharma, Anmol Sharma, Anju Bala, Mamta Sharma and Course Instructors Santosh Manhas, Satvinder Kour, Pooja Gupta, Rita Sharma, Ranjni Gupta, Navneet Kour, Shikha Deep, Radha Sharma, Bhavna Gandotra, Asha Rani, Raveen Akhtar, Renu Sharma, Sugandha Sharma, Rohini Gupta, Usha Rani, Rekha Rani, Sunita Koul, Anjana Puri, Surja Koul, Gurmeet Kour, Rachna Sharma, Anita Sharma, Anna Singh,Twinkle Sudan and Kajol.
Over 800 parents witnessed the competition.
Yudhvir Sethi, BJP State Vice president was the chief guest on the occasion.
