UCMAS holds Graduation Ceremony, awards International Grading Exam winners

JAMMU, Oct 12: UCMAS, a Malaysia based organization pioneering in abacus based brain development programme today organized Graduation Ceremony and awarded International Grading Exam (IGE) winners of 2014.
This International Standard Exam was conducted by Akademi Sempoa and Mental Arithmetic UCMAS, Malaysia and accredited by Zhusuan Abacus Association, China.
The prize distribution for IGE 2014 and Graduation Ceremony was held at Government Women College, Gandhi Nagar. More than 500 parents and students witnessed the programme.
On the occasion, RP Singh, Principal, GD Goenka School was the chief guest, while as Sureshta Khajuria, Principal, Shangrilla Public School, Aditi Amit Gupta, Director Kids Campus School were guests of honour.
While welcoming the guests, Director UCMAS J&K Rupesh Masson informed that that this International grading exam provided a unique opportunity for student undergoing abacus from Jammu region to get evaluated on the Standardized Global Level, set by UCMAS Malaysia.
“UCMAS is the only organization which can provide international recognition for kids pursing Abacus education in Jammu”, he said, adding that with 11 successful centers and over 2500 plus trained students, UCMAS is one of the largest and most successful Abacus institute with international affiliations and recognition in Jammu.
He also informed that UCMAS is the only organization working in Jammu which has been approved by Zhusuan Abacus Association and Research Society and Taiwan Mental Arithmetic Association —the apex body of Abacus Education in the World and Affiliated and Member of Top 3 international association like World Association of Abacus and Mental Arithmetic (WAAMA) China, National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), USA and Association for Childhood Education International (ACIE), USA.
145 students cleared the exams and were in Merit list of this International Grading Exam. The students who graduated from UCMAS Abacus Course are Ryushi Roy, Akshat Bhagotra, Ananya Mahajan, Pitamber Gupta, Puniya Raina, Seerat Raina, Ananya Tondon, Antra Dhar, Aryaman Gupta, Amisha Gupta, Stuti Mahajan, Bhuvan Mahajan, Rudra Gupta, Arya Gupta, Sukanya Bhat, Shivam Bhat, Shhavi Koul, Arav Wattal and Anavi Wattal.
Among others present were Director UCMAS Abacus J&K Sonia Masson, Franchise owner of different centers Rashmi Aggarwal, Laxmi Gupta, Anita Bhan, Arun Gupta, Ritika Gupta, Sonia Rekhi, Rita Sharma and Balgit Kour. Course Instructors Jyoti Kohli, Kalpana Jain, Anajana, Jyoti Kohli, Rohini Gupta, Gurmeet Kour and Sonia Jamwal were also present.
