JAMMU, Sept 15: UCMAS held the prize distribution ceremony for the 14th J&K UCMAS Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Competition 2024 at Jammu Club, MA Stadium, here today. With the theme “Edu-Entrepreneurs: Empowering Women & Youth through Education,” the event highlighted the role of education in fostering entrepreneurship among women and youth.
Over 400 students from various UCMAS centers in Jammu, including Channi Himmat, Trikuta Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Greater Kailash, Talab Tillo, Bohri, New Plot, and others, participated in the competition.
The prestigious Champion of Champion title was won by Rajya Vardhan, while other champions included Adheesh Mahajan, Ruhaan Khajuria, Mrinank Gupta, Rudransh Sharma, Reyan Bhagat, and Veedansh.
Among the top performers were Devanshi Mathur, Parth Mahajan, Priyamvada, Aaryav Kohli, Vivaan Rana, Aarushi Maurya, Pranshul Gupta, Aarav Gupta, Jaahnawi Bhagat, Trisatya Bhat, Piyush Lalotra, Onish Suri, Ayaan Gupta, Ritvik Dogra, Ansh Chadha, Rudhav, Joyeen Singh and Aadhya Gupta, who claimed the 1st prizes in their respective categories.
Second prize winners included Garvik Sharma, Anadi Abrol, Rajveer Dayal, Nayonika Katal, Aashish Singh Chib, Rohan Mahajan, Naksh Bangotra, Kavya Jagotra, Shanaya Sharma, Shitij Gupta, Samar Kapoor, Adhyan Basson, Vinayak Narania, Aadvik Singh, Aarman Chadha, NiyanT Gupta, Ryan Mahajan, and Ashish Sharma.
The 3rd prizes were awarded to Armaan Sharma, Satvik Singh, Sanvi Singh, Arhaan Singh, Adarsh Chib, Divish Mahajan, Aashvika, Roshni Gupta, Darsh Singh, Aarya Verma, Navya Rajput, Edhayata Gupta, Vanya Gandotra, Sejal Dogra, Bhavyam Verma, Daiwik Sharma and Lakshya Raina.
Fourth prize recipients were Tanush Behl, Taksham Gotra, Subhaan Raza, Aarav Gupta, Amog Jain, Shubham, Gurveen Singh, Saatvik Gupta and Aaradhaya Jagdev. Lastly, the 5th prize winners included Joanna Thappa, Krishty, Kaira Dhar, Aadvik Singh, Varchsav, Ronisha Gupta, Mehul Sarmal, Ruhan Gupta and Sanatan.
The event was graced by Rohit Khajuria, General Secretary of the Red Cross and former DC Samba, who served as the chief guest. Other notable guests included Vinay Kumar, Neeta Rawal, Ajay Singh Chandel, Pardeep Dutta, Sohail Kazami and Ravinder Singh. Rupesh Masson, Founder Director of One Global Foundation and Regional Director J&K of UCMAS, expressed his gratitude towards all participants, guests, and parents.
