Udhampur City, Baba FCs win matches

1st ABVM Footbal Tournament

JAMMU, Feb 11: Udhampur City Football Club (FC) and Baba Football Club won their respective matches today during the 1st Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial (ABVM) Football Tournament.
The Tournament is being organized by Shaheen Football Club under the aegis of J&K Football Association (DFA Jammu) at GGM Science College Football Ground, here.
The first match of the day was played between Udhampur City Football Club and Param Football Club and it was won by Udhampur FC by 4-1. For Udhampur City FC, 1 goal each was done by Amit Khajuria, Sandeep Rana, Tajamul Tariq Bhat and Sachit Khajuria while the only goal for Param FC was scored by Aniket Singh.
Second match of the day was played between City FC and Baba FC. It was won by Baba FC by 3-1. For Baba FC, 1 goal each was scored by Murshid, Noor and Arfat while the only goal for City FC was done by Zulkar.
Amarjeet Singh (senior player) was the chief guest on the occasion. He was accompanied by David Masih (NIS Coach), Yousaf Don (Secretary DFA), Rajinder Abrol, Ashok Kumar, Kamaljeet Kumar, Narinder Gupta, Peter Sandhu, Shahnawaz Iqbal (J&K Bank Coach), Rakesh Kumar, and Ramesh Chander (Organizing Secretary and International Player).
Referees of the matches were Rahul Sharma, Aman Sudan, Shivam, Ricky, Satnam Singh, Ramesh and Aman.
Tomorrow, the first match will be played between Vijay Club and Katra FC at 1:30 PM and second match between JK Bank XI and FC United Kathua at 3 PM, at the same venue.
